Lifting Equipment/Crane Inspector
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspection, testing, and certification of:
- Lifting accessories, CCU’s and etc.
- mobile cranes, overhead cranes, pedestal cranes of all types.
- forklift, telehandler, excavator and other plant trucks of various types
- fall arrest equipment (full body harness, lanyards, inertial reels and etc.)
- Provide inspection lifting equipment and welding points using MPI testing technique
- Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT/MPI/PT) results
Required Experience:
- Quality inspection, testing and reporting experience
- Working knowledge within an engineering environment
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the lifting operation and inspection
Skills, training, or special knowledge:
- Good command of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word
- Good command of reading and writing of English language
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and international standards
- University diploma in technical profession
- Certified by the Lifting Equipment Engineering Association, LEEA part 1 & 2 or an approved equivalent engineering qualification or experience and training.
- ASNT TC 1A level II (or recognized equivalent which complies with EN473) in magnetic particle examination and dye penetrant examination.
